Check Out Acura’s Blind Spot Information System

Acura is constantly evolving the art and science of driving, and thanks to Acura’s Blind Spot Information System, you’ll never make dangerous lane changes again.
The Blind Spot Information System assists drivers before making lane changes by warning them if a vehicle is in their blind spot. When a vehicle in either adjacent lane enters one of two alert zones – areas where the vehicle is close but difficult to spot – the BSI System alerts the driver by turning on an indicator on that side’s front door A-pillar close to the side mirror. If the driver activates the turn signal in the direction where a vehicle is detected in the alert zone, the indicator light will get brighter and begin to flash. (See video above.)
But don’t worry – Acura took several measures in designing the system to ensure that it is a helpful feature, not an annoyance. You even have the option of turning off the BSI if you choose.
